Can anybody suggest a 1st anniversary present for a non-sentimental husband?

I've like to get something paper-based, but I'm open to suggestions. He like music, surfing and walking, and I'm stumped for ideas! Can anybody suggest a 1st anniversary present for a non-sentimental husband?
Paper based could be a book on a topic he'd enjoy...or new CDs he'd enjoy, surfing accessories, or a new pair of walking shoes or maybe an mp3 to listen to.

If he likes to build/repair things, tools are always a good choice. Maybe a power tool he doesn't already have.

He's your husband, you know him better than we...we can only guess at what he might like. Can anybody suggest a 1st anniversary present for a non-sentimental husband?
One unique idea you should think about is a personalized Photo Collage Jigsaw Puzzle. This can bring together all your husband's favorite things into one composite photo collage layout and the enjoyment of solving the puzzle.

A Photo Collage is easy to order. Just send the guys at jigsaw2order.com a collection of his favorite photos and specify other themes such as Boston Terriers, Snoopy and favorite movies that you want to include. 10-20 photos usually works best. You can also specify the words to a favorite song or poem. Based on your photos and input, let the professional designers at jigsaw2order.com create a unique photo collage layout for your approval before making it into a puzzle. Don't worry, you get a chance to review and approve the photo collage design before they make a puzzle. Once completed, it can be framed and put on the wall as a great keepsake.
My husband and I are celebrating our one year anniversary in September. We're flying down to Vegas for 4 days (long weekend) so the paper element will be our plane tickets!

We're going to have Elvis renew our wedding vows on the day of our wedding anniversary. We had the huge, expensive wedding in Toronto last year so we're going to do a crazy ';wedding'; this year. Neither of us have been to Vegas so we've already got a ton of stuff we want to do when we're down there (suggestions are always appreciated for those who've been !!)

We've agreed to renew our vows every year some place we've never been before %26lt;3 %26lt;3 I think it's a really special way to celebrate a marriage that people so often forget to cherish!
Just see if you can find a copy of sheet music for his favorite group or song %26amp; frame it %26amp; wrap it your self.

If he is truly non sentimental these events will mean more to you every time, it does not matter how many years or which event, he just may never ';get it';.
Spend the money on some good food and wine. Stay home, but be wearing a garter belt, stockings and high heels, but nothing else! Have dinner cooking and let him find you dressed like this.

Make passionate love all night, in different rooms, but not the bedroom! Kitchen, dining room (on the table)in the slower.

Re-live the honeymoon!
When you both are out shopping, what does he usually stop and look at for longer time? Cd? Hp gadgets? Cd player? Surfing boards?Tour packages? These can give you clues on what to get for him.

Or a pic of you and him together with a hand-written love note to remind him that you still appreciate being his wife. That is lovely too.A good sentimental night with him will be a great way to melt his heart.:)
I think you'll like this one...

Why not get him a gift voucher for wakeboarding - that way you've given him something made of paper, but it's actually an experience to do something he'll love!

The first anniversary is traditionally paper, so I would suggest a funny card with a ticket to a concert.
Go to the website of ';I want one of those'; where you will find dozens of gadgets and toys and ideas for event-treats like driving tanks or white-water rafting
paperbased?! What? How about you get him a new surfboard or anything related to something he likes to do.
carve his name in a tree trunk then take him for a picnic near the tree and tell him thats his gift, he'll be tickled pink.
Most men are unsentimental. Men like sex, so I agree with the first answer.
men like sex.. get a hotel room and go to victorias secret and learn how to do a strip tease.. he will like that.
concert tickets?? you said he liked music, and those are paper! Get two for a band you both like. Build some memories!
a wallet
Beer...all men like beer.
