R&S: What do you think about Elton John and his Husband David Furnish trying to adopt a child?

I think the child would be lucky to have two great parents like the John family. Imagine the musical education he'd get.R%26amp;S: What do you think about Elton John and his Husband David Furnish trying to adopt a child?
Are they? that's cool! It's so ridiculous when people say that same sex couples shouldn't be allowed to adopt, it annoys me a lot!

All a child needs is love and ironically these people who don't agree with same sex couples adopting also are often against abortion! So these people expect women to have unwanted children, even children through rape and then they don't care what happens to the child after it's born. They'd even deny them having a loving home just cause the people who wanted to adopt was a same sex couple.R%26amp;S: What do you think about Elton John and his Husband David Furnish trying to adopt a child?
All the answers here have missed the big picture. These very wealthy people who adopt in poor countries have been found to have provoked parents into abandoning their children in orphanages in the hope that they too will be adopted by rich people and lead prosperous lives. One adoption by the likes of EJ and DF leads to the abandoning of large numbers of other children who are then denied a family life. If they must adopt, then why are they not adopting within their own country? Is it perhaps a matter of being too old? Which in turn raises the issue of whether people over a certain age should be adopting.
Why ever not? The child is an orphan with a dismal future. This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain love and a proper education.
Ultimately they are two good hearted human beings in a loving relationship looking to adopt an orphaned child.

I could never have a problem with that.

Peace and Blessings = )
Good for them. There are so many kids out there that need a loving family, and I think that two dads, two mums or just one parent can be just as good as a mum and a dad.
I think the child will be brought up in a loving environment with two men who REALLY want their child and will do the best for him.
I agree with you, one less unloved child in the world can't be a bad thing. I wish them luck and I hope the child is happy, which I suspect he will be.
A win for equality and a win for the child.
They should be able to adopt.
One less child stuck with a fundo christian.
They seem like decent people. Why not?
i wish them the best.
I think it is as wrong as what gay marriages are. This is not a badgering of anyone, purely a personal opinion.
