Should I let my husband help my daughter with her homework?

I am so mad right now. When I helped my 6 years old with her homework; it is always correct. Well, yesterday ; he helped her and she got 93. Should I let my husband help my daughter with her homework?
what ever makes your daughter comfortable.Should I let my husband help my daughter with her homework?
You should be thankful that your husband is helping your daughter and not bitching about it. It is not only the helping that is important, ofcourse it is a big part of it but the other huge part of it is that they are spending time together. I'm more concerned about you then your husband helping your daughter. Sounds like you have control issues. Lighten up and start thinking about the things that has blessed your life.
Last I checked, a ninety three is still an A, a really good grade. That shows that just maybe she was doing some of it herself. Are you really helping her? Or, are you doing her homework so it's right and she gets straight A's? Let your husband be a father and help her, or why don't neither of you help her and see what she's learned and remembers by herself. Check it when she's done and answer questions if she has any, but don't be caught up in perfection.
Pull your head out of your butt. Your daughter is six, she needs to learn about good study habits now, not later on down the line.

And as long as the work is getting done and is not below a ';B';, who CARES? It's not going to show up on the transcript. And God forbid your husband get involved in things. Stop being selfish.
ok straight up he tries to help her and btw that is still an A. Your just to damn selfish to let her frigin go. Here is a damn scoring scale that almost every teacher uses

100-90 A

89-80 B

79-70 C

69-60 D

59 below F

As you can see your daughter got an A. And at least the farther frigin tried
so you think a 93 is bad? And she is only 6 years old! its not like she's going to become a hobo cuz she got one 93 when she 6. And a 93 is good!!! And just because you get it right 'everytime' dosent mean other people have to be 'perfect'. sorry but you shouldnt be mad right now. Maybe both of you can help her at the same time.
You need to figure out what ';helping'; is. You help when she's having trouble with a question, you don't sit there and do it for her.

Nothing wrong with getting a 93, especially if she's doing most of the work herself, with a little help from a parent.
Oh MY God!! She got a 93!! SO SO So bad.....

You need to chill. A 93 is good. If ur daughter grows up thinking she has to be perfect and get As on every little thing she does she's not going to do well in the world we have today.
so? 93 is good. and what exactly is ';helping';
Lets just hope its him that teaches her proper use of punctuation...
At least he tries to help her!

And those are still good grades, it's not like they're F's!

Your just being selfish!

What is the difference between a good father and a cheater husband?

why they keep on telling hes a good father but a bad husband. How come it will be a good father when he cheated the mother of the children. What is the difference between a good father and a cheater husband?
He's not a good father. A good father wouldn't have done that to their mother. Nor would he have messed up their family for his own selfish behaviorWhat is the difference between a good father and a cheater husband?
Because he can still care for his kids, take care of them and lead them although he had a moral lapse.

Many women feel that if a man hurt them then they can't be good fathers. This is because you view it from your hurt and not from the point of view of the kids.

Truth is the kids love their dad and want him to be in their lives. And this is hurtful to you because they will be in his life and you won't.
Cheaters don't set good examples for their kids. Therefore, they are not good parents. They don't know what respect is, so they cannot teach it to their kids. Or honesty, commitment, or family values. It is a package deal.
A good father would not act this way. What a horrible example to set for your children! People might say ';he is a good father'; when speaking of a cheating husband as an attempt to defend his character.
A good father wouldn't risk destroying his family to have an affair. He would, at minimal, respectfully leave the mother first.
good father=being good to kids...cheater , well men and women cheat for a number of reasons. not sure....but sometimes men can be great dads but terrible hubbies
I agree with you. Cheating destroys the FAMILY, not just the spouse. Not good parenting in my eyes!
one is a good husband, the other is cheater
omg.. i am so tired of people and their Lame *** questions.. get a life...

Should I tell my husband that my 2 year old takes his tooth brush daily and uses it on himself?

When I was 3 I purposely dropped all the toothbrushes in the toilet and blamed the baby. I was a devil child.Should I tell my husband that my 2 year old takes his tooth brush daily and uses it on himself?
I'd replace the toilet tooth brush, if only because my husband is a huge whiner when sick and I don't care to deal with him getting one of the many possible bacterial infections from the loo. My children whine less than he while ill :P. As far as parenting, unlike the assuming twit said- it is normal for a child to want to be like their parent and this does not signify a lack of parenting. My son likes to use his Daddy's toothbrush too. Nothing wrong with that, and my husband does know and doesn't care.Should I tell my husband that my 2 year old takes his tooth brush daily and uses it on himself?
My son loves using my husbands toothbrush and my toothbrush, not so much his own. I tried giving him a toothbrush like ours to practice brushing, but he always wants what's not his.

My husband knows that he uses it and doesn't mind. He's a healthy boy, no germs in his mouth that we don't already have, so what's the problem?
In all my life I have NEVER seen such a horrible display of parenting. You should be ashamed of yourself! Or maybe some of the other answerer's should get a life? I think the second statement is the correct one.

I would never ever had told him. Until he dropped it in the toilet. Unless of course you are crossing your fingers that your husband gets e coli. In which case, rock on.

I would probably tell him it accidentally got dropped in and replace it. Then I would let your son keep on brushing with the new one.

Happy brushing!!
Ok so dropping it in the toilet isn't nice...ew.

But apart from that, does your child have some horrible contagious disease? Is he likely to make your husband really ill? If the answer is no, it really doesn't matter. Although if your husband thinks it's gross I would tell him just to see the look on his face. Ooh wait until he's brushed his teeth and tell him it's been in the toilet XD
First of all buy your husband a new toothbrush. Buy a few different cute little brushes for your 2yo and let him choose which he wants to use each day. Don't tell him which is dad's or even put dad's out of eyesight so he doesn't even think about it.
I don't think it's a big deal, though dropping it in the toilet is kinda gross. Make sure you soak it in some rubbing alcohol and then rinse it really well. My sons like to put on my husband's deodorant. We think it's funny. ;-)
Eww... throw that tooth brush away and give your husband a new one. Then start parenting your child and insist he use HIS toothbrush and leave Daddy's alone. Certain things shouldn't be shared.
yeah you should get another toothbrush and he just wants to be like him maybe buy two toothbrushes that look the same and use one for you tot trick him into thinking its your husbands
You should buy a toothbrush for your son. My son has had his own toothbrush since he first started growing teeth.
If your husband will be eating a box lunch later, then have him gargoyle first.
Some things are better left unsaid.

Can a vehicle lease in my name be cancelled if my husband gets deployed?

My husband will be getting deployed here within the next little bit, which has brought me to my question. My husband and I have two vehicles that we lease, if he gets deployed however, we will not need both of these vehicles, so my question is under the SCRA can we cancel the lease that we have on one of the vehicles even though the vehicle is under my name? Can a vehicle lease in my name be cancelled if my husband gets deployed?
Nope. In the event it was just in his name it doesn't release him from his obligation to still pay the debt. It just means ha can't be forclosed on or repossed.

Who is protected?

Members of every branch of the U.S. Military, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Public Health Service (PHS), whether officer or enlisted, who are on active duty or who are in training under the supervision of the United States just prior to entering active duty are entitled to the protections and benefits of the SSCRA.

Dependents of Service Members

Dependents of military personnel may apply to a court for limited protections under the SSCRA concerning rent, installment contracts, mortgages, liens, assignments, and leases.

Installment Contracts

The SSCRA also protects service members from creditors repossessing property, rescinding contracts, or imposing penalties without first obtaining a court order for members who signed an installment contract for the purchase of real or personal property if the following three conditions are met:

1. the installment contract originated prior to active duty;

2. the service member paid a deposit or installment payment prior to service; and

3. the member’s ability to make payments is “materially affected” by the member’s military service.

Again, courts will generally stay the repossession or rescission, or provide other equitable relief where ability to make installment payments is “materially affected” by military service. Can a vehicle lease in my name be cancelled if my husband gets deployed?
No.

#1. You can not cancel the lease on the car that is under your name. You are not in the service, you are not being deployed, you are not having any change in your situation. You are not covered in any way, shape or form in getting out of the lease due to his being deployed.

#2. The Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act applies to contracts that he had BEFORE he joined the service which become a burden on him as a result of joining. It does not apply to his dependents and contracts they signed. If the other vehicle was leased BY HIM prior to joining the service and his name is the only one on the lease then he can invoke the act and get out of the lease.

#3. If he leased the car after he joined, he can not invoke the act even if his name is the only one on the lease.

Other than above, your only chance is to read the lease carefully and see if there is anything in the lease contract that allows you to get out of it early.

As with house and appartment rental contracts, service people need to remember that a military clause in all rental agreements/leases can save them a lot of trouble in situations like this. If you have one in the contract you can easily get out of the contract when you get reassigned or deployed.
Having worked for a ford dealership I would tell you to contact the lease company that you went through originally. Depending on how soon your lease is up you may be able to turn the vehicle in early at no penalty. I have seen it happen in the past. Remember though there is no guarantee that they will take it early.

They might also be able to work something out with you. If you go back to the dealership beware. They might give you a whole different story as to what your options are ( it's all in there best interest to screw you and make more money.)

Call your lease company, they know all the outs.
For sure if it is in your husband's name but since it is in yours call the leasing company or read the lease agreement. If I were you, I would try to add his name to the lease.
if only your name is on the lease, no. if both of your names are on the lease, possibly.
I don't think so, because usually there are protections for just such contingencies.
Well, it's in your name, and you're not being deployed so that might be kind of a tough sell.

I'd like music that is modern, but has variations in tempo (to allow me to fire breath). I thought about punjabi, but his music is all fast, and doesn't allow time for the breathing.I am doing a belly dancing/fire breathing dance for my husband, but am at a loss for music. Any suggestions?
