Are the chances of getting pregnant really good after your husband had a reverse vasectomy???

I am on my way of being 30 years old, and my husband and I are considering having a baby. But, he had a vasectomy more then 15 years ago and he is planning to have it reversed, but i heard the chances are very low, is that true??? Any advice or successful stories out there???Are the chances of getting pregnant really good after your husband had a reverse vasectomy???
It's absolutely possible, but ensure that you also get a bunch of tests done (while he's already there for the procedure) to check sperm count. You might as well have everything 'on the table' before you start TTC, so that you know exactly what you're dealing with. Best of luck to you!!!Are the chances of getting pregnant really good after your husband had a reverse vasectomy???
A reversal after a period of greater than 15 years:

Sperm Return Success 71%

Pregnancy Rate 30%
The chances are low that a reverse vasectomy will work, especially when the vasectomy was done 15 years ago. But it does happen, good luck
Reversals seldom result in pregnancy. It is a waste of money.

Do you know that insurance will not cover it, and the cost will be 10 grand? Do you know that the surgery is long complicated and painful, unlike the original vasectomy?
it's possible my niece has gotten pregnant twice from her hubby having gotten his reversed. I don't think it's a guarantee but nothing in life is..good luck!
it is possible but i don't think the odds are very good
