Why is the husband always older then the wife?

I notice that almost always the husband is older. Its a wierd question but why isnt the wife older?Why is the husband always older then the wife?

hmm, i have always wondered that too.


but i think it has to do with the way our brains think of the oposite sex.
My wife is slightly older than me. No issues. I dated younger women and older and I ';clicked'; with my wife better.
because girls mature faster than guys.


and also i guess its just the normal but no one really cares or pays attention once you are out of school about who is older
