A lot of people rent their condo at the beach. Go to vrb and when you find Destin Fl. Check the size condo you want to rent. It can definitely be done. They are usually cheaper than if you went through the hotel section to find a Condo.
You might be expected to pay a deposit but if you don't mess their place up by breaking something or whatever you get your deposit back.
